I was thrilled when Lavika asked me to photograph their wedding. They called it their 'little project' for me. The mixture of cultures was utterly fantastic. The Hindu ceremony took place at the front of a Catholic church. The two priests worked together to join the couple in marriage. From the beautiful dresses filled with colour to the fantastic vegetarian feast, the day flowed by flawlessly. The families were so welcoming and treated me as one of their own. Music played and everyone danced into the wee hours of the night. Definitely an experience I hope to witness again in my life. Absolutely fantastic!
